Williamstown Gospel Mission Church (Electra Street), St Stephen's Uniting Church (179 Melbourne Road), Westgate Vineyard Church (meeting in the former Stevedore Street Uniting Church building) (57 Stevedore Street, east of Douglas Parade). The first lighthouse, made of wood with an oil-burning light at the top, was built at Point Gellibrand in 1840. Through the 1950s and 1960s, Williamstown Little Theatre had several homes in Williamstown; from the Mechanic's Institute to the Williamstown Town Hall Supper Room and the former Missions to Seamen building in Nelson Place.
