Delicious Bourbon Hot Toddy

A simple recipe for a bourbon & tea hot toddy to beat the cold winter months.

Equipment

  • Tea Kettle

Ingredients
  

Spirits

  • 2 oz. Bourbon I use Bulleit Bourbon, could also use whiskey.

Produce

  • 1 small Lemon Squeeze juice from half a lemon. A small lemon can make two drinks.
  • Lemon peel for garnish

Other Ingredients

  • boiling water to fill a mug
  • 1 tsp honey or 1 honey stick
  • 1 bag Harney & Sons Vanilla Comoro Tea Decaf

Instructions
 

Boil Water

  • Boil water in tea kettle, enough to fill a mug

Prep Mug while water boils

  • Add honey to base of mug
  • Peel lemon for garnish
  • Squeeze lemon juice into mug
  • Place tea bag in mug

Mix Cocktail after water boils

  • Pour hot water over tea bag, honey & lemon mixture in the mug
  • Add Bourbon
  • Finish with lemon peel for garnish
